    Rodney Poe, born in the city of Milwaukee Wisconsin. Singing has always been a feature of Rodney’s life since the tender age of 5. Rodney started with a gospel musical group with he and his sister and brother and together they were called the Precious Poe’s. This started getting Rodney Poe attention around his hometown where he eventually took his music career serious. Rodney was always a song writer even as early as the age 9 yrs old Rodney wrote a gospel song and sold it for a bike. Rodney continued to build that hunger for music weather it was writer performing it. Rodney later started singing R&B and formed a R&B group called Special request and this group consisted of 4 touring talented young adults all from Milwaukee Wisconsin. The group was getting a lot of notoriety and winning almost every talent show there were in. Eventually Rodney went solo and continued to write new music for himself and others. Rodney would eventually get his music played on radio and it started spreading like a wildfire. Rodney had 3 records that’s earned heavy rotation for 13 weeks or more. I’m 2015 Rodney met superstar producer Teddy Riley and it was there that Rodney started seeing his dreams unfold before his very eyes. Year back Rodney and his group special request would sing some of Teddy Riley’s music from the group Black Street and now Teddy Was asking Rodney to be a replacement member and Rodney gladly excepted. From that opportunity Rodney Poe was able to literally tour the world with Teddy and the group Blackstreet as one of the newest lead principals. After Blackstreet Rodney Poe toured with R&B legend Keith Sweat and later after that earn an opportunity to perform with the Legendary R&B group After 7. Today Rodney Continues his Solo career and from time to time tours with Teddy Riley and friends as one of the performers. Rodney is yet chasing his solo endeavors and hopes that you will stay tuned and believe with him that his love music can change the would.
